Overview of Painting program
Studies begin with a year of foundation studies in which the student is exposed to a wide variety of materials and techniques. This serves as an introduction and provides a basic set of skills to rely on in the following years.
Subsequent studies are based on levels, where each student is expected to fulfill all level requirements in order to continue to the next level. Courses in the following subjects are taught at the Advanced levels: History of Painting , Theory, Drawing, Composition and Painting studio classes.
Classes take place once week (6 hrs/ week) for the abridged program, or twice a week (12 hrs/ week) for the recommended full program - October to July (included).
