Shlomit Breuer (BA in sociology and anthropology, Tel Aviv University) is the Basis Gallery manager and curator.
Her predilection for unpretentious paper works, drawings and process-based works of art is discernible in her years-long curatorial work. According to her, the exhibitions she curates and the accompanying texts she writes are intended to be as clear and comprehensible as possible. Moreover, one should see them as proposals, or as two among many other possible readings and interpretations.
