Aloni completed her studies in the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design with a merit of excellence and continued on to study philosophy in Tel Aviv University. She specializes in analog photography and traditional techniques, as well as research into new work methods. Using the photographic perspective, Aloni examines the boundaries of the local cultural space within its broader context.
Galit’s works have been presented in a solo exhibition in Beit Gavriel and she has participated in several group exhibitions. She has also worked to establish a photography lab in Tel Aviv and worked with many artists from Israel and abroad.
From 2015 – teaches photographic practices in Basis.
